Candy bar poems
Place various types of candy bars on a tray and cover it with a towel. Separate the guests into groups. Show the contents of the tray to one group at a time. Each group gets 30 seconds to remember as many candy types on the tray as possible. Then they must write a poem about the bride and groom using the names of the candies on the tray. The group that uses the most names wins. Have each member of the group sign the poem and put the finished poems in a memory book for the bride.

The wedding alphabet game
The first person starts with a sentence using the letter "A" to describe a wedding item or tradition. The next guest must repeat this sentence and add another item at the end of the sentence, and it starts with the letter "B". Then the next guest does the same thing and adds an item starting with the letter "C". For example, the first person may describe "I went to a wedding and brought an album" , the second person then says " I went to a wedding and brought an album and bubbles". Anyone unable to add a wedding related item must drop out of the game. The person who stays alive the longest wins a prize.

The price is right
Take about 20 grocery items and make a list of their brand names and sizes. Have your guests fill in prices next to each item. This game can be played by each item price or by total list price. The guest who guess the closest price to the true price wins!

Cotton balls
Divide the guests into a few groups. Each group sends a representative to play the game. The representative kneels on the floor. Spread cotton balls on the floor in front of the player. She/He is then given a large plastic bowl and soup spoon. Blindfold the player and ask him/her to put as many cotton balls as possible in the bowl, using the spoon within 2 or 3 minutes. The team with the most cotton balls in the bowl wins!

Where are they?
Put about 2 pounds of uncooked rice in a bowl, mixed in 25-30 smooth rounded hard candies. Place the bowl on a table and blindfold the player. The person who finds the most candies wins.

Tear and tell
Pass a roll of toilet paper to the guests, have each person tear off paper as much as he/she would like to. After every person has a wad of paper, tell them that they must now give advice for a happy marriage for every sheet on their strand.

Thank You Cards
This game should be played at the end of the shower. Pass out envelopes to each of the guests and have them address it to themselves. Put them in a bag, shake them up and have the bride pick one out. The person whom she picks wins a prize. The addressed envelopes can then be used to send out the thank you cards. This will take a lot of work off the shoulders of the bride.
