Bridal / Wedding Shower Games

How well the bride knows the groom 2
Prior to the shower, ask the groom 15-20 questions about himself . Write down all the answers and be sure to keep it secret so that the bride doesn't know ahead of time. At the shower, read the questions to the group, have everyone guess how well he/she thinks the bride knows her groom and write down how many of the questions he/she thinks the bride will get right. Then ask the bride the questions, let her answer out loud. It can get very interesting. To add even more fun to the game, for every answer the bride correctly gets, give her a Hershey's Kiss and for every wrong one, give her a piece of bubble gum in her mouth. It is pretty funny when she tries answering the last questions with a mouthful of gum!
Examples of questions are:
1. Who was his best friend when he was a teenager?
2. What is his favorite music group, color, food, and so on?
3. How old was he when he had his first kiss?
4. What was his first pet and its name?
5. What was the first job that he held?
6. What was the date of the bride and groom's first kiss or date?
7. Where did the bride and groom go on first date?

First kiss
Ask the bride to tell the story of the first time she and her fiance kissed. Then each guest tell his/her story of his/her first kiss with his/her special person. If there are younger guests, they can tell a story of how they imagine that their first kiss will be like. Then everyone votes on the most romantic story.

Shower Bingo
Make Bingo cards with 16 empty spaces (4 across, 4 down). Have the guests write in the gifts that they think the bride will receive. As she opens her presents, mark off any of the presents written down. As soon as someone has 4 in a row, shouts "BINGO!" and wins a prize.

What's the date
Have each guest tell his/her birthday or the date of his/her wedding anniversary. The person whose date is closest to the wedding date wins a prize.

Wedding dress
Divide the guests into two or more groups of 3-5 people. Each group must choose a model for their wedding dress (a small person is preferable). Provide each group with several rolls of white toilet paper. Each group has to design and fashion a wedding dress out of this toilet paper. It's up to you to allow or disallow accessories such as earrings, bouquets, trains, headpieces, wedding ring, etc... Once the groups are finished, the bride picks the winner of the contest.

Make the bouquet
Supply the guests with paper plates and tissue, toilet, or construction paper and anything that can be simply decorated with. Ask each guest to make a bouquet for a wedding by sticking everything on the plate together within one minute. Have the bride pick the bouquet she likes best. The bouquet that wins is thrown by the bride, and the one who catches it is the "next one to be married" and wins a prize.

What's in the purse
Prior to the shower, make a list of common and uncommon things that can be found in a woman's purse. Assign each item a point value (for example. a nail file might be worth 2 points, hairbrush - 3 points, lipstick - 3 points, etc...) Uncommon items (such as, buttons, sewing kits, lotion, toothpicks, staple remover, etc...) should have a higher point value. Then have all the female guests have their purses in front of them. Read the list and have the guests write down their points. The guest who has the most or the least points wins.

Guess the amount of candies
Fill up a cute heart shaped container or bottle with candies. Make sure you know how many pieces are in it before seal it up. Pass the container around and have the guests guess how many pieces are in it. Have them write their guess on a piece of paper. Who ever is the closest wins the container.
