Baby name songs
Make a tape with short snippets of songs (about 15 to 20 seconds in length) with names in the title. If the sex of the baby is known, use names for that gender. Play the songs and have people guess the name of the song and the artist. The one with the most correct song titles and artists wins!
Examples of songs for a girl: "Mona Lisa" and "Ramblin' Rose" by Nat King Cole, "Cecilia" by Simon and Garfunkel, "Sara Smile" by Hall and Oats, "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" by the Beatles...
Examples of songs for a boy: "Hey Jude" by the Beatles, the James Bond Theme by Monty Norman Orchestra, "Thomas O'Malley Cat" from the Disney movie "Aristocats", "Don't Mess Around with Jim" by Jim Croce, "Fernando" by Abba...
For baby of unknown gender, use songs with the word "baby" in them or mix some of the songs above.

Rock a Bye Baby
This game is like musical chairs or hot potato. Have the guests stand or sit in a circle with one holding a small baby doll. The Mother-to-be sings a lullaby and each guest rocks the baby and then passes the baby on. When the Mother-to-be stops singing the guest holding the baby is out. Be sure to have each guest gently rock and pass the baby. Throwing is not allowed. The person who throws the baby must leave the game.

At the party, blindfold the Mom-to-be and ask her to identify each item pulled from the bag. Before she begins, have each guest write down how many items he/she thinks the Mom-to-be would guess correct. The person with closest number wins a prize. The Mom-to-be gets to keep the bag.

This game can be played by each item price or by total list price. The guest who guess the closest price to the true price wins!
Bath towel memories
Purchase a large hooded bath towel for baby and non-toxic fabric paint or markers in baby colors, choose colors according to the baby sex (blue for boy, pink for girl), use white or yellow if the baby sex is unknown. As each guest arrives have him/her write a message or poem for the baby on the towel with the paint or markers. At the end of the party present the Mom-to-be with the towel. This makes a great keepsake gift for the Mom and baby.
Baby alphabets
The first person starts with a sentence using the letter "A" to describe a baby, birth and/or pregnancy related items. The next guest must repeat this sentence and add another item at the end of the sentence, and it starts with the letter "B". Then the next guest does the same thing and adds an item starting with the letter "C". For example, the first person may describe "I came here with applesauce" , the second person then says " I came here with applesauce and a bib". Anyone unable to add a baby, birth and/or pregnancy related item must drop out of the game. The person who stays alive the longest wins a prize.
